Simon Fraser University's West Mall Complex combines offices, classrooms and six lecture theatres ranging in size from 40 seat policy rooms to 250 seat lecture halls. A 78 seat policy room doubles as the University's Senate room.

We provided a full acoustical design package for the facility, as well as design of speech reinforcement and A/V playback systems for the lecture theatres. The Senate room also incorporates a separate hands-free 40 microphone zoned auto mixer system to provide voice lift and recording for Senate meetings.

We worked closely with the experienced Instructional Media Centre staff to ensure their requirements were incorporated into the design. This included extensive involvement in control room layout and conduit size, count and location.
