BKL Consultants have been called to provide expert testimony in numerous situations, including:

• Environmental panels and utilities commissions in both British Columbia and Alberta on environmental projects ranging from open pit coal mines, to power plant installations and to transportation facilities
  
• Environmental review commission established to review the design and construction of the SkyTrain Millennium LRT line in Vancouver in February 1999
• Municipal councils and zoning boards to provide testimony on the acoustical aspects of a variety of projects including industrial facilities, commercial establishments and multi-family residential projects
• British Columbia Supreme Court on a number of occasions as expert witnesses in matters of the acoustical isolation of walls and floors in both wood frame and concrete residential multi-family construction
• One of our consultants provided expert testimony on the outdoor propagation of gunshot sounds in a murder trial in the State of Nebraska
